Seniors who are applying to college are invited to attend our workshop to receive help from volunteers with the college essay writing portion of the application process.

Some students will be far along and will mainly need help with essay revision. Others who require more guidance will need help with idea generation and strategizing.

A brief training pamphlet will be emailed to volunteers in advance. In advance of the workshop (from 10:00 – 10:30am), FFL will review the materials with volunteers and take questions.

Goals:

(1.) To have as many regular and supplemental essays as possible, improved and advanced to the next writing stage.

(2.) To create as many mentor/mentee relationships as possible in an effort to ensure that the students continue with the progress they make on November 5th and complete their essays in a timely fashion.
